The MP2695 is a high-efficiency I2C-controlled 3.6A switching charger with JEITA Profile. The device supports Li-ion, Li-polymer, and LiFePO4 chemistries in single-cell applications. It provides programmable fast charge current from 500mA to 3600mA, programmable battery voltage from 3.6V to 4.45V with 0.5% accuracy, and operation voltage from 4.0V to 11V. The device has robust protection features including input over-voltage protection, input current and voltage regulation, charge safety timer, thermal shutdown, and fully-customizable JEITA battery temperature monitoring. It also provides analog voltage output IB Pin for battery current monitor, along with status and fault monitoring through I2C. The device is available in a 21-pin QFN(3mmx3mm) package, and is designed for application such as Bluetooth speakers, E-cigarettes, and other portable devices.
