The GD24CL series is a line of high-reliability, low-power I²C serial EEPROMs manufactured by GigaDevice. Launched as GigaDevice’s first dedicated EEPROM family, it is designed for secure, long-term non-volatile data storage in harsh operating environments.
Key Technical Specifications
- Interface: 2-wire serial interface, fully I²C compatible.
- Density Options: Scaling from 32 Kb up to 1 Mb. The first available device in this family is the 256 Kb variant (GD24CL256B).
- Data Endurance: Up to 4 million program/erase cycles, which is roughly four times higher than standard industry EEPROMs.
- Data Retention: Minimum of 100 years.
- Hardware Protection: Features integrated on-chip ECC (Error Correction Code) for automated security data management.
- Single supply voltage: 1.7 – 5.5V
- Temperature Range: Operates across an industrial grade temperature window of -40°C to 125°C.
